Privacy Policy

FlickBaby ("we", "our", or "the app") is a baby activity tracker for Android. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how your data is handled.

1. Data We Collect

When you use FlickBaby, we collect the following information:

Google Account information — your name, email address, and profile photo, used for authentication and to identify you within your household.
Baby care records — feeding times and amounts, diaper changes, sleep sessions, and health check entries that you manually log.
Household membership — the household group you create or join, including the invite code and member list.
App usage analytics — anonymous, aggregated usage data (via Firebase Analytics) such as screen views and feature usage. This data cannot identify you personally.
Crash reports — automatic crash and error logs (via Firebase Crashlytics) to help us fix bugs. These may include device model, OS version, and stack traces, but do not include your personal baby care data.

2. How We Store Your Data

All data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure (Cloud Firestore), hosted on Google Cloud Platform. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We do not operate our own servers.

3. Who Can See Your Data

Your baby care records are only visible to members of your household. No one outside your household — including us — can view your records through the app. Household membership is controlled by an invite code that you share privately.

4. Third-Party Services

FlickBaby uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Firebase Authentication — for Google Sign-In (Firebase Privacy)
Cloud Firestore — for data storage
Firebase Crashlytics — for crash reporting
Firebase Analytics — for anonymous usage analytics

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as you maintain an active account. You can delete your data at any time by:

Deleting individual records within the app.
Leaving or deleting your household (which removes your access to shared records).
Contacting us to request complete account and data deletion.

6. Children's Privacy

FlickBaby is designed for parents and caregivers, not for use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The baby care records stored are entered by adult caregivers about their children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
